Azalea Health CEO Baha Zeidan will join healthcare leaders from across the Southeast at the 2026 Health Connect South Annual Gathering on Sept. 16, 2026, at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.
Zeidan will participate in the panel, “Closing the Gap: Advancing Healthcare in Rural America,” from 11:35 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The discussion will focus on the challenges facing rural communities and the innovative solutions and partnerships helping improve healthcare access and outcomes in rural America.
Joining Zeidan on the panel are Jeremy Slaga, chief clinical operations officer at FSU Health; Brandon Talley, PhD, MPH, executive vice president, chief impact and innovation at the CDC Foundation; and Stephanie Beavers, MD, FACP, vice dean of academics and administration at Mercer University School of Medicine.
Health Connect South brings together healthcare decision-makers, innovators, researchers, clinicians, and other leaders to explore current healthcare challenges, emerging innovations, and opportunities for collaboration. The 2026 gathering features speakers from organizations including the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Emory Healthcare, Georgia Hospital Association, Kaiser Permanente, and Duke University Health System.
Zeidan is among more than 50 featured speakers scheduled to participate in this year’s event.
